Life's Poop

Life tends to give us generous helpings of poop on a regular basis.  Ok… Truth is that this poop is usually in response to:Fertilizer, poop, hope, transformation, growth

  • Something we have done
  • Something we have said
  • Some thought process
  • Some choice we have made
  • Some belief system we entertain regularly
  • Something, basically, that has originated from US!

It is only natural to be left holding a huge platter of poop from life when that is all we have been dishing out not only to others but to ourselves as well.  So here we stand with a platter of poop.  Now what?  What on earth am I going to do with this platter of smelly poop?

We think that when holding a platter of poop, we have to get rid of it somehow.  We desperately try to make it disappear in various ways.  One of the magic tricks we use attempting to make it disappear is to try and make it someone else’s poop instead of ours.  We do this by blaming others.  No matter…, It is still OUR poop.

No judgment here.  Mistakes happen and it doesn’t mean that our mistakes must be punished.  Mistakes just mean an adjustment is necessary.  Now all we have to do is be willing to make the adjustment.  It is certainly not always easy to surrender to doing something new and stepping out of old behavior patterns.   There is great news for when we do finally decide to alter our behaviors, alter our thoughts, alter our words, alter our deeds, alter our choices, or alter our beliefs.  The great news is that we get to transform ourselves.

This change we make in ourselves changes the poop too!  Now, instead of a platter full of smelly poop, we have a platter full of wonderful, rich fertilizer just waiting to nourish the new garden of our lives.  Spring is just around the corner and I’m looking forward to a beautiful garden; a garden of transformation filled with beautiful flowers all growing as a result of some very rich fertilizer.

"When you find the love, you find yourself. The secret is in the love. You are the love, not another. Everything is in the love, and everyone needs the love. When you have the knowledge of the love, you feel peace in your heart. The jewels are inside you. This is the Holy meaning. If the Muslims, Jews, Christians, and the people of any other religion knew their religion well, there would only be one religion, the religion of love, and peace and mercy."
