The Ring
Life was difficult, full of struggle, f
amine, war and disease. It was a land filled with hopelessness and despair. It was a time of deep struggle. The king was a good king with a kind, loving heart that looked toward his Creator for the strength to continue striving in order to better the conditions of his people. Through perseverance, patience, steadfastness and faith meshed with hard work, things did change. The region became known far and wide for its bountiful crops, as well as the health and happiness of its people. Peace reigned in the land and the people rejoiced openly with deep gratitude.
The good king commissioned a group of artisans to make a ring. The task was a daunting one even though the instructions were simple. He told the artisans, “I never want to forget. I always want to remember the difficult, trying times. I want to remember the importance of never losing hope, the importance of continuing the struggle against even the greatest odds. I want to remember the importance of keeping my eyes focused on the One True Lord no matter what is happening. I also never want to forget the blessings of this joyous time and the importance of deep gratitude. Craft me a ring that I can wear so every time I gaze upon it, I will never forget, I will remember all of these things.”
Time passed and the artisans returned presenting the ring to the king. It was perfect! The king smiled deeply, a single tear gliding down his cheek, as he slipped the simple gold band on his finger. He bowed his head in prayer as he remembered. He remembered it all gazing at the simple inscription which read: "THIS TOO SHALL PASS."

"When you find the love, you find yourself. The secret is in the love. You are the love, not another. Everything is in the love, and everyone needs the love. When you have the knowledge of the love, you feel peace in your heart. The jewels are inside you. This is the Holy meaning. If the Muslims, Jews, Christians, and the people of any other religion knew their religion well, there would only be one religion, the religion of love, and peace and mercy."
